Countability — Privacy Policy

Overview

Countability is a personal and business accounting app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy describes how we handle your data.

Data Collection

We do NOT collect any personal data. All your financial data (spaces, transactions, categories) is stored locally on your device and, if enabled, synced via your personal iCloud account.

Data Storage

• Local Storage: All data is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
• iCloud Sync: If enabled, data syncs across your devices via your Apple iCloud account. We do not have access to this data.
• No Servers: We do not operate any servers that store your data.

Third-Party Services

• Apple StoreKit: For processing in-app purchases. Managed entirely by Apple.
• Apple iCloud: For optional data synchronization. Managed by Apple under their privacy policy.

Biometric Authentication

Countability offers Face ID / Touch ID authentication to protect your data. Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's Secure Enclave and is never accessible to our app.

Analytics

We do not collect analytics, usage data, crash reports, or any other telemetry from your device.

Children's Privacy

Countability does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
